UCONNIC FAQs 2024

When and at what time does the event start?

The 2024 edition of the UCONNIC Music Festival will begin at 6pm on Thursday, April 11th!

Can the general public purchase tickets to UCONNIC?

UConn student(s) can purchase guest ticket(s), but the number of guest ticket(s) cannot exceed the number of UConn student ticket(s) being purchased.  There is a 4 ticket limit.  See the ‘Buy Tickets’ link in the menu for more information.  UConn students will be required to enter their NetID when purchasing tickets for themselves and guests.  UConn students will be required to show their UConn ID at the doors to Gampel. Guests are required to present photo ID at the doors to Gampel.

I bought tickets. Now what?

After buying tickets to UCONNIC, you will receive a confirmation email.  The confirmation email is NOT your tickets.  All UConn students that purchase tickets will need to visit the Student Union on select ticket distribution dates to pick up your physical UCONNIC tickets. Tickets must be picked up by the original ticket purchaser; you cannot pick up tickets for roommates, friends or family. The original ticket purchaser must bring their confirmation email and their UConn ID.

When and where do we pickup our tickets?

UCONNIC ticket distribution will occur across 4 days in the Student Union.

  • Tuesday, April 2 from 9am – 4:30pm in Student Union Room 310
  • Wednesday, April 3 from 9am – 4:30pm in Student Union Room 304A
  • Thursday, April 4 from 9am – 4:30pm in Student Union Room 310
  • Friday, April 5 from 9am – 4:30pm in Student Union Room 304C

After the ticket distribution times above have passed, any remaining UCONNIC tickets can be picked up at the Student Activities office in Student Union 307/308 the week of UCONNIC.  The Student Activities office is open Monday through Friday from 9am – 4pm.

How do regional campus students pickup tickets?

UConn students from the regional campuses are more than welcome to pick up their wristbands at Storrs during the scheduled UCONNIC ticket distribution dates and locations.  The Will Call office at Gampel will be open beginning at 4pm on the night of UCONNIC for day-of ticket distribution, with an emphasis on regional campus students.

Can I give my ticket to a friend, sell my ticket online, or trade my ticket with someone else?

Unfortunately, no. UCONNIC tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable for a few different reasons. For security purposes, it is essential that we have a record of exactly who is at the event. Therefore, tickets can only be used by the original purchaser, whose information we receive at the time of purchase.

Can I change or upgrade my ticket?

Our tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of ticket sales as well as sold out sections, we are unable to change or upgrade your ticket after purchase. Students should coordinate with friends and guests to ensure that groups can purchase tickets in the same section.

Is there accessible seating for the music festival?

Of course! We are willing and more than happy to make any accommodations you may need at UCONNIC. Send an email to subogconcert@uconn.edu with any accommodation requests.
