UCONNIC FAQs 2022

Can the general public purchase tickets to UCONNIC?

UCONNIC is only open to UConn undergraduate students; no guests or general public admission.

Is the festival portion of UCONNIC accessible without a ticket?

The festival portion of UCONNIC will be fenced in and only accessible with a UCONNIC ticket. Your ticket purchase grants you access to the show as well as the outdoor vendors and attractions. Students will not be able to access any part of UCONNIC without a ticket.

Can I change or upgrade my ticket?

Our tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of ticket sales as well as sold out sections, we are unable to change or upgrade your ticket after purchase.

How do regional campus students pickup wristbands?

Students at our regional campuses are more than welcome to pickup wristbands at the Storrs pickup dates and locations. However, we will be allowing regional campus students to pickup their wristbands at the doors of UCONNIC on April 8th.

When and at what time does the event start?

UCONNIC will begin at 6 PM on April 8th at Gampel Pavilion.

How can we pickup our wristbands?

Wristbands must be picked up by the original purchaser of the UCONNIC ticket(s). The original purchaser must bring their confirmation email and Student ID. At pickup, you will receive event information, your wristband, and your ticket. This may not be sold or given away as it is registered to the original purchaser.

Can I give my ticket to a friend, sell my ticket online, or trade my ticket with someone else?

Unfortunately, no. UCONNIC tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable for a few different reasons.¬†For security purposes, it is essential that we have a record of exactly who is at the event. Therefore, tickets can only be used by the original purchaser, who’s information we receive at the time of purchase.

My confirmation email doesn’t list the section, which section did I buy?

Our confirmation emails are not your official ticket or entry to UCONNIC. When you pickup your wristbands, the ticket you receive will list your section and your seat for UCONNIC, depending on your original purchase. The best way to determine your section before pickup is to cross reference your purchase price with the section price levels.

Are the food trucks at the event free?

The food trucks at UCONNIC are selling their typical menu items and available for purchase by attendees. Students are welcome to purchase food and drinks at the show, at their own discretion.

When do we pickup our wristbands?

Wristband pickup will begin in April. Specific dates and locations will be published on this website and on SUBOG social media @SUBOGatUConn as we get closer to the show.

Is there accessible seating for the music festival?

Of course! We are willing and more than happy to make any accommodations you may need at UCONNIC. Send an email to subogconcert@uconn.edu with any accommodation requests.

How long will the show be? When does it start and end?

It’s hard to predict the exact duration of UCONNIC as high pace events like this change plans often. As of now, our current schedule is for about a 5 hour event. Doors for UCONNIC will open at 6 PM. The show is scheduled to end at 11 PM.
